Stock footage doesn't always need to be played from beginning to end. Instead of watching a flood happen, you can make the waters recede! Playing stock footage
(and even songs and sound effects) in reverse can have some surprising effects. Try it out and make the flood look like it's ending! That'd make an excellent ending to a disaster movie!
